EPISODE 2: THE SWEAT PARTY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 02:27PM So.....
My initial intent with It's Going Down was to start off dealing with open mics and performance showcases. But after a night of great performances, dancing, and some pretty good footage, I decided to shine the lights onto a dope event planning company called "Grae Enterprises." On this particular evening, Grae celebrated the one year anniversary of their themed Sweat Party. One year ago, Tim Grae and crew embarked on a simple mission; to create a party atmosphere in which people aren't worried about getting excessively dressed up.....ladies don't care about sweating their perms out.....men weren't holding up walls watching people dance. The Sweat Party was intended to do what it sounds like; MAKE YOU SWEAT!
With growth came a more defined mission: to incorporate physical fitness and wellness with nightlife. Sometimes the simplest ideas go undiscovered until we scale back and see what we've been missing! Kudos to the Grae family for pairing two elements together that have been treated as two separate entities prior to the formation of The Sweat Party.
