Also, Since this is the week of Thanksgiving, here's some food for thought; though I do celebrate Thanksgiving (mainly for the family aspect of it) it's a holiday built on the upheaval of an entire cultural group of people from their natural habitat. RISE OF THE ILLEST RECAP

So.....

A good friend of mine Wordspit threw a successful event at SOB's in New York for his campaign Rise of the Illest, geared towards bringing awareness to the ongoing fight for a cure for HIV/AIDS. With close to 400 people in attendance, Rocawear and MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, I can honestly say that I felt like I was apart of a true movement if nothing else because I was there! For more recap from the man himself check it out!

BUT I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an honor to be apart of a live band cipher along with several dope emcees such as Final Outlaw, Livewire, Dremur, Wordsworth, and a sleuth of others! Have a gander!
