RISE OF THE ILLEST RECAP

So.....

A good friend of mine Wordspit threw a successful event at SOB's in New York for his campaign Rise of the Illest, geared towards bringing awareness to the ongoing fight for a cure for HIV/AIDS. With close to 400 people in attendance, Rocawear and MTV's Staying Alive Foundation, I can honestly say that I felt like I was apart of a true movement if nothing else because I was there! BUT I'd be lying if I said it wasn't an honor to be apart of a live band cipher along with several dope emcees such as Final Outlaw, Livewire, Dremur, Wordsworth, and a sleuth of others! Have a gander!

WORDSPIT - THAT'S ROCAWEAR

So.....

After watching the WordSpit / That's Rocawear performance, I couldn't help but feel like it's only fitting that the East New York Brooklyn born emcee found the perfect co-sign for the "WeTheIllest" campaign that he's embarked on for the last few years. Kudos family! This serves as a victory not only for your fans but your peers on the scence as well.
